Dr. Brittany Schamerhorn, ND maintains a general practice with a passion for supporting women with their health and hormones. Helping them go from tired, stressed and feeling victim to their hormones to energized, balanced and in control. From addressing concerns such as PMS, PCOS, and endometriosis to providing support during fertility, pregnancy, postpartum, perimenopause, and menopause, her aim is to help women to feel vibrant, resilient, and energized throughout every phase and transition of life.

Longevity medicine, also known as anti-aging medicine or age management medicine, is a field of healthcare focused on extending and optimizing the human lifespan. Unlike traditional medicine that primarily addresses symptoms of disease, longevity medicine aims to proactively prevent age-related decline, enhance overall well-being, and promote a longer, healthier life. We selectively labeled our approach ‘weight management’ because being at our best body size is not always just about weight loss. For one, when we lose something it implies we will find it and most of us do not want to ‘find’ our excess pounds again, but mostly many people we speak with state they just want to feel good in their body again.
Be it weight reduction, weight gain or weight stabilization, our goal is to meet each person where they are and then offer options to best achieve healthiest weight, with lasting results. We certainly do not want to have anyone feel restricted, given a crash diet, or solely relying on prescription medications to achieve a healthy weight. Our goal is to make sure you do not feel overwhelmed, but instead are supported with lasting lifestyle changes, in addition to getting notable physical changes.
Our program includes an intake to discuss your goals, lab work, follow up with both an MD and an ND, regular touch points with an RN lifestyle coach. If you would like to know more about our new Weight Management Collaboration please call the office 778-478-0048 or schedule an intake to learn more about our unique approach
